Christopher Babajide Omoworare is a Nigerian politician and senator representing Osun East Senatorial District. He was born on October 31, 1968 in Ile-Ife, Ife Central Local Government Area of Osun State to Mr Oloye Joseph Larewaju Omoworare and Mrs Teniade Areoye. His father was the Principal of Ebenezer Grammar School Ijeda whereas his mother was a London trained seamstress and Domestic Scientist and is the daughter of Oba Adesoji Tadenikawo Aderemi, Ooni of Ife who reigned from 1930 to 1980.

Christopher Babajide Omoworare began his elementary school at Sijuwade Nursery & Primary School, Oluorogbo, Ile-Ife, and afterwards proceeded to St. John’s Grammar School, Oke-Atan , Ile-Ife, where he passed his O'Level.
Babajide proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) still in his hometown Ife, where studied Law, obtaining a Bachelors degree in Law in 1989 and thereafter attended the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar one year later in 1990.
He also has a Masters in Law from the University of Lagos, Akoka as well as a Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurial Development from Pan African University (Lagos Business School).
Babajide Omoworare started out his Law career while serving in the NYSC scheme in 1991 at International Commercial and Property Lagos law firm of Babalakin & Co. and later became an Associate of the firm. He became a Notary Public and began his own law firm in 1998; Omoworare & Co. and then ventured into political career.
In January 1999, he successfully ran for election for the Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency of the Lagos State House of Assembly on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD). He was re-elected in 2003, and became the Majority Leader and Chairman of the Business Rules and Standing Orders Committee.
In the 2007 general elections, he contested for the Osun East Senatorial seat on the platform of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). The election was marred by electoral malpractices and violence, and was nullified in October 2009 by the Court of Appeal, Ibadan. Christopher Omoworare did not participate in the rerun election of December 23, 2009.
However, in the April 2011 general elections for the Osun East Senatorial seat, Omoworare successfully ran for the senatorial seat and won on the platform of the ACN defeating Senator Iyiola Omisore of the PDP.

Omoworare is presently the Principal Consultant of Cosmopolitan Consult (a tax and law consultancy). He is also the Executive Director of the African Bureau for Legislative Empowerment (ABLE), a consultancy with the objective of strengthening the capacity of the legislature and fostering good governance in general.
In the 2015 general elections, he again contested for the Osun East senatorial seat and emerged winner on the platform of the All Progressive Congress.(APC).
Senator Babajide Omoworare is married with children. He is a member, patron and proprietor of numerous church societies, sport clubs, charity organizations and community development associations. He is a member of the Catholic church.
