Francis Odinaka Uzoho was born on October 28th, 1998 in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. He is a professional footballer who plays for Spanish club Deportivo de La Coruña as a goalkeeper and the Nigerian national team.
Francis Uzoho is 26 years old.
In 2013, Uzoho started his football career as a forward in a Qatari football academy. In 2016, after being converted to a goalkeeper, he was spotted by Spanish club, Deportivo de La Coruña, who signed him in January. But, because of his age, he didn’t feature in the senior team until September 10. Following that, he made his La Liga debut on October 15, 2017. At the age of 18 years and 352 days, that debut made him the youngest foreign goalkeeper to ever play in La Liga. He was also named the second youngest player in La Liga in the 2017/2018 season.
Uzoho represented Nigeria under-17s at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Aged only 14, he was an immediate backup to Dele Alampasu. Just two weeks after his first taste of high-level football competition, Nigerian national team coach, Gernot Rohr called him up to join the Super Eagles. He made his full international debut on 14 November, replacing Daniel Akpeyi in a 4–2 friendly win against Argentina.
His net worth is not available.
