Sabina Ifeoma Umeh-Akamune was born in Anambra state, Nigeria in 1968. She is a singer, singwriter, choreographer, model, designer, and actress.

Sabina grew up in a very close-knit family and was raised in a happy home with plenty of love, music and laughter. Her parents instilled in her a great sense of independence to make and trust her choice of career, spouse and so on, whilst being closely guided by them. The daughter of a playwright, Umeh went on to study Theatre Arts at the University of Benin.
While schooling at UNIBEN, Sabina won the Miss UNIBEN. She went on to win the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 1990 in December 1989, after which she was a contestant at the Miss Universe, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss World, winning the Miss Personality award.
She has compiled a lot of original material for her music career, and has been recording and performing professionally for years. She has worked with Juicygroove's production and management teams to develop an act with emphasis on spectacle, electricity and energetic performance of her unique music.The message inherent in Sabina's music is fun, freedom and enjoyment in a lavish and spectacular style. Sabina has boundless charm and a bright sparkling personality that appeals to a wide cross section of an international audience. She is a great communicator warmly received by male and female, young or old alike.
Some of her recent appearances were in Dublin Ireland, London England, Paris France and major cities across the United States. Sabina has an artistic family background and has been exposed to the performing arts since childhood. Her musical inspiration comes from the likes of Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Prince, Annie Lennox, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Cesaria Evora, Miriam Makeba and Beyonce. She derives immense satisfaction from her music and it is a gift she wishes to share with the world.
For over 30 years, Umeh has married to fashion designer and former actor Kese Jabari whom she had first met at the University of Benin. The couple appeared on the cover of Mode Men Magazine's February/March 2017 Valentine edition. Together they have four children, including a set of twins.
