Chidinma born Chidinma Ekile aka Ms Kedike is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. She was born on the 2nd of May, 1991 in Ketu area of Lagos state, Nigeria to Igbo parents who are both from Imo state. She is the sixth of seven children and has described her father as a disciplinarian in many reports.

She had her primary and secondary education in Ketu area before her family relocated to the Ikorodu area of Lagos state and she worked as a business promoter prior to her auditioning for the third season of the MTN Project Fame West Africa show held in 2010, in which she eventually emerged winner, carting away the star prize of N2.5 million, a 2011 Toyota RAV4 and an album production deal. Initially, she had the intention to study Mass Communication and was offered admission into the University of Lagos, which she declined due to her advancement in the Project Fame West Africa competition. However, she later went on to study Sociology at the University of Lagos and is now a graduate of the aforementioned institution.

She started singing at the age of 6 and when she was 10 years old, she joined the church choir. In 2010, she rose to fame after winning the third season of the MTN Project Fame West Africa competition and after that, she took up music as a profession. She is currently signed under the Capital Hills Record and has since released many songs and featured many big artistes such as ‘Jankolilko’ featuring Sound Sultan, ‘Kedike’ featuring Dammy Krane, ‘Emi Ni Baller’ featuring her labelmates Tha Suspect and Illbliss, ‘Emi Ni Baller’ remix featuring Wizkid and many others. She has received many nominations for her musical expertise and has won some of these nominations. She has mentioned Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Omawumi, Onyeka Onwenu, Lagbaja and Dary Art Alade as her biggest musical influences.

In past interview sessions, she has revealed that she was born blind and according to her parents, she couldn’t see for some months after birth and she has said she would love to be seen as someone who does a lot for visually-impaired kids and young people as she can relate with their situation. She is estimated to be worth about $2.8 Million currently. In November, 2013, she suffered a sex tape scandal, with many people alleging she was the one in the video but she debunked those claims, stating that her account was hacked. The singer is currently single, even though there are ongoing speculations that she is in a romantic relationship with Kiss Daniel.
