Foster Ogola was born on August 17, 1961, he is from Ekeremor Bayelsa State and the senator representing Bayelsa West Senatorial District.

Foster Ogola attended Esenaeb College Bomadi, Delta State, after which he proceeded to Rivers State School of Basic Studies, Portharcourt. He obtained a Masters degree from the Imo State University Owerri in Christian Leadership.
He also attended the INUTAR/UNOSAT Institute Geneva in 2008 where he obtained a Diploma in Satellite Techology. He is an Associate Fellow at the African Business School, Abuja and also attended the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Yenagoa. He also has a Doctorate degree in Christain Leadership from GMF Christain University Lagos.
Before Ogola joined mainstream Nigerian politics, he was a teacher and taught in various schools in the Old Bendel and Rivers states
He has as his Legislative Interests; NDDC, Upstream/Downstream Petroleum Legislations, Defence, Works and Infrastructure, Housing, FCT and Appropriation.
In the 2015 elections, Foster Ogola contested for the Bayelsa West Senatorial seat and won on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
