Makinde had his primary and secondary education in Lagos. At age 20, he became one of Nigeria's Formost Mobile and PC Youngest Consultant with a vast knowlege in technology.

Fresh out of Secondary school, Makinde created Naijalaoded on October 1st, 2009. Haven always been a good internet user, he was undergoing some training in web design at the time. When he discovered that most bloggers had no knowledge about web designing, but outsource their design and programming jobs to outsiders and those ones build based on their own understanding, he built a website to address those challenges. 

Without a finance power to back him, Makinde first began with a free hosting. In 2010, he bought a domain name, got a server and started paying, and has since grown from a 10,000 visit monthly to a 110 million page views monthly. Now, he has between 110 million and 130 million page views averagely, about 15 staff members and about one million naira as salaries monthly.

In August 2017, Makinde launched Naijaloaded TV, for the purpose of asking people’s opinion about happenings in the entertainment industry. This was 6months after he graduated from the University.

In May 2017, Makinde tied the nuptial knot with long-term girlfriend, Mujidat Omokehinde at Northern Foreshore Estate, Chevron drive Lekki Lagos where families, friends and well-wishers came to celebrate the couple.
