Fasasi Mobolaji (Da Emperor) was born into the family of Engineer and Mrs Fasasi in Algbado Area of Lagos state on the 5th of October 1993. He is the only son of his mother but not of his father.
Fasasi Mobolaji Gaius is 31 years old.
He had his primary school education at Elveecaa Nursery and Primary school, Alagbado, Lagos State, Nigeria from where he went on to Ijebu Anglican Diocesan College Iganipabi, Ogun state for his secondary school education before going on to get a degree in Urban and Regional planning and C.I.S.C.O from Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Ijebu- Igbo in Ogun state in 2012. He proceeded to Olabise Onabanjo University to obtain a Bachelors degree in Architecture.
Fassasi Mobolaji Gaius started off in 2008 with freestyles although he had been in his church choir since he was ten and had gone on to head the choir at a very tender age.
He recorded his first songs in 2010. In 2013, he collaborated with Canadian - based Jamaican reggae artist, Kisco. In February 2013, he was featured on the song 'Be ma boo' by Afro pop singer, Slim Joe and he also released the single 'Para Mode' in thesame year.
On 2 February 2014, he released a song in support of Governor Ambode which was succeeded by the single 'Liar' which is a cover of Chris Brown's 'Loyal' featuring Lil wayne and Tyga.
Da Emperor has ben involved in a few philianthropic activities and on the 5th of March 2016 was involved in an international collaboration with American artist 'Stylezz' and English artist 'Shyboss'
When he is not writting lyrics, the artist loves to listen to music, 'chill out' or travel.
