Kingsley Edowo was born on June 19th, 1996. He is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Tunisian club Sfaxien Sports and the Nigerian national team.

Edowo began his carer in 2012 withh Gateway FC of Abeokuta before playing for Sunshine Starsof Akure betwen 2013 and 2015. In thereafter joined Lobi Stars of Markudi where he netted 16 goals in all competitions in the 2017 season. In October 2017, he turned down a staggering one million dollars deal tabled by an Iraqi club, stating that his wish was not to rush out of the country for only money, but for football reason as well. In January 2018, Tunisian club Sfaxien Sports announced the signing of the Nigerian striker on a three-and-half year contract. He finally left Lobi stars after three years to join Tunisian outfit. He was given the number 27 shirt.
The forward played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s qualification for the African Nations Championship in Morocco, scoring in the decisive second leg 2-0 victory against neighbours Benin Republic but was surprisingly left out of the final squad for the competition. He was also at the 2017 WAFU Cup.
