Musa Muhammed Shehu was born on October 31st, 1996 in Kano state, Nigeria. He is a professional footballer who currently plays at the full back position for Bulgarian club Lokomotiv Plovdiv where he is on loan from his parent club, Istanbul Basaksehir of Turkey.

Musa grew up in Kano. He joined FC Heart Academy in 2013 to sharpen his football skills. He spent two years at the academy.
Musa captained Nigeria to one of its finest moments when the Golden Eaglets won the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in style in UAE. According to him, it remains one of the highlights of his career and even special whenever he remembers the fact that he captained that special breed of players including the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Musa Yahaya, Zaharadeen Bello, among others.
After his display at the tournament, Musa joined Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir. In February 2017, he was sent out on loan to FC Zeljeznicar in Bosnia. After six months with the 3rd place team in Bosnia, the right full back who has three caps for the senior national team of Nigeria joined Bulgarian First League club Lokomotiv Plodiv on another loan spell from September 2017.
In his early twenties, the Muslim born defender is currently not married.
