Tope Fasua Early Life

Born into a family from Akure, Ondo State, Fasua grew up in Lagos where he had his primary school and form 1 education at a Jakande School before moving to Akure. He attended Army Comprehensive High School in Akure, Ondo State where he obtained his Senior School Certificate in 1985. He obtained an admission in 1987 to studied Economics at the Ondo State University. In 1991, he graduated with a bachelor's degree and was the best overall student in his department, faculty and the entire institution. From 1993 he studied at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and graduated as a Chartered Accountant in 1996.

Tope Fasua Career

From 1992 to 1998, Fasua worked as a Senior Bank Officer at Citizens Bank, Lagos. He served as manager at Standard Trust Bank from 1998 to 2000. From March 2000 to September 2005, he was the regional director of Equatorial Trust Bank, Abuja. In 2006 he obtained a bachelor's degree in Financial Markets and Derivatives from the London Metropolitan University. Since October 2006, he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Global Analytics Consulting Limited. He also attended the London Business School in 2008 and the Harvard Business School in 2009. He is currently working on his doctorate on Public Policy and Leadership at Walden University.

Fasua has authored four books. They are; Crushed, Things to Do Before Your Career Disappears, The Race for Capital, and A Change Will Come. He has also written over 2,000 articles. In December 2016, he founded the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) and has served as its National Chairman since February 2018. On May 17th, 2018 he announced his intention to contest for the Nigerian presidential seat in 2019.
