Honourable Ossy Chinedu Prestige Ehiriodo (popularly known as Major Donor) was born on January 24th, 1965. He hails from Agboji community of Abiriba in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. Honourable Prestige had his Secondary education at Mbutu Ngwa Secondary School, Abia State from where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1983. In 1999, he held B.Sc degree in Government and Public Administration from the Abia State University, Uturu. He further earned an MBA in Shipping and Logistics from the Lloyds Maritime Academy London, United Kingdom, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration from Commonwealth University in Belize, South America.

Prior to moving into politics, Honourable Prestige worked as a Customs Broker, Maritime Services Provider, Shipping Consultant and Importer of diverse Merchandise. Some of the firms he worked with include Prestige Group = Prestige Associates Ltd, Osspress Freighters West Africa Ltd, Prisca & Prince BDC Ltd, Mikoni BDC Ltd, Prestige Farms Ltd, Prestige Digital Press Ltd, Prestige Logistics & Transport Ltd, and Prestige Real Estate Development Systems Ltd.

He was the Treasurer of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Onne Sea Port Chapter, 2002, its Secretary 2003 – 2008 and Chairman 2008 – 2014. He is the 1st Deputy President of the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). He is also a member of elite clubs such as Rotary International. He was President of the Rotary Club of Eziukwu Aba 2007/2008 and Assistant Governor of Rotary District 9140, 2009/2010. He is President of two foundations; Prestige Ossy Foundation and The Favoured Initiatives. He also belongs to the great Okeziri Otu-Enyi League of Friends of Abiriba and sits on its Board as a Trustee.

Honourable Prestige serves as a House of Representatives member representing Aba North/South constituency under the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). As a House member, his legislative interests include Maritime/Marine Transport, Nigerian Custom Services, Finance, and Oil & Gas.

Honourable Prestige is married to Rotary Ann Precious and the union is blessed with five children. He is a Christian and member of the Presbyterian Church denomination and has distinguished himself as a Pillar of the Church. He is a Sports Enthusiast and Promoter, and a Hall of Fame Silver Card Holder of the prestigious Aba Sports Club.
