Hon. Muhammed Wudil Ali was born on October 1st, 1960 in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. He is an engineer and politician representing Wudil/Garko Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon Ali attended G.T.T.S Kano where he obtained the West African Senior Certificate (WASC) in 1979. He proceeded to the Kaduna State Polytechnic in 1983 and obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering in 1985. He proceeded to Bayero University Kano in 1989 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in 1993.
Hon Ali served as the Managing Director of Kano State Rural Electricity Board. He was elected into the House of Representatives in 2007 to represent Wudil/Garko Federal Constituency. He was re-elected in 2011 during which he served in the following committees; Ethics & Privileges, Labour, Employment & Productivity, Science & Technology, and Works (as Vice Chairman).
He was re-elected for a third term in 2015. He is a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and is the Chairman at Poverty Alleviation Committee. His legislative interest is in power supply.
