Hon. Emmanuel Memga

Hon. Emmanuel Memga Udende was born on December 30th, 1960. He is an indigene of Zaki Biam in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. He is a lawyer, businessman and politician currently representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

Hon. Emmanuel began his education at N.K.ST. Primary School Pevikaa Benue State where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in 1973. He enrolled at Marmara Government Secondary School Wukari, Taraba State where he obtained a West African Senior Certificate (WASC) in 1980. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) from the University of Maiduguri in 1985. He attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to bar in 1986.

Hon. Emmanuel worked as a deputy chairman from 1991 to 1997 of his Local Government Area. In 2015, he was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. He serves in the following committees; Police Affairs, Labour, Employment & Productivity, Petroleum Resources (Down Stream), Rules & Business, Air Force, Justice, Public Service Matter, FCT Area Councils & Ancillary Matters, and Drugs & Narcotics.
