Oluwafemi Ajayi, known as Junior Ajayi, was born on January 29th, 1996 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is a professional footballer who plays as a striker and winger for Egyptian gians, Al Ahly, and the Nigerian national team.

Junior Ajay joined Tunisian Sfaxien club in September 2015,he participated in 28 matches in the Tunisian league with a rate of 2388 minutes, scored 10 goals and made seven goals. In the summer of 2016, he joined Al Ahly of Egypt, becoming the second player to join the red team from CS Sfaxien after Ali Maaloul, for $2,500,000.
He was selected by Nigeria for their 18-man squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics, after helping them qualifying to Rio with his decisive goals and winning the bronze medal with the team at the games.
On December 30th, 2017, Ajayi married his longtime girlfriend, Tamilore Tahwakhalat, at an elaborate wedding ceremony in Lagos. He is cousin to professional footballers Isaac Success and Goodness Ajayi who play for Málaga CF and HNK Rijeka respectively.
The Al Ahly of Egypt star was also included in the 2017 Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Team of the Year.
