Tamara Eteimo also known by her stage name Tamara Jones was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria on July 24th, 1987 to a family from Angiama, Southern Ijaw local government of Bayelsa state. She is a Nigerian R&B singer-songwriter and actress.

After my graduating from University of Port Harcourt, she started dancing, from dancing she went to music, and made money from music. Since her Nollywood film debut in 2011, right after she won the seventh edition of the Next Movie Star reality show, the actress has appeared in over 50 films. She was ranked second in Charles Novia's annual rankings of Nollywood actresses for 2013 and has been nominated for numerous awards. Before May 2010, she had released singles "Vibrate" and "Na Only you" from her debut studio album.
The Bayelsa State born actress performed in Crack your Ribs (2009), and performed at the Rivers State carnival (2009). She performed in quite couple of shows organized by City People in Port Harcourt. She has also featured in movies like 'Somewhere Down the Line', Dry', Finding Mercy', 'Desperate HouseGirls' 'Cobweb, 'Super Story : Itohan', Mrs Somebody',' A Long Night' and others. In 2014, she produced her second movie 'Oyoma'.
According to Eteimo, her celebrity crush is Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), and her role models are Stephanie Linus and Rita Dominic. She is currently not married.
