Osita Iheme (popularly known as Paw Paw) was born in Abia State, Nigeria on February 20th, 1982 into a family of five children from Mbaitoli, Imo State.

Iheme grew up in Abia State. After completing his primary and secondary education in the state, he enrolled into the Lagos State University where he studied Computer Science.
Iheme joined Nollywood in 2001 and started acting as a minor character in movies. In 2003, he rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Aki na Ukwa” alongside with Chinedu Ikedieze. He has often been described as one of the best actors of his generation and also one of Nigeria’s most famous actors. He is the founder of Inspired Movement Africa, a movement set aside to inspire and stimulate the minds of young Nigerians.
Iheme has played the role of a child in many of his films but has later adopted more mature and dramatic roles. He is the New Generation Ambassador for Rotary International and the Author of an inspirational book titled “Inspired 101”. He has also featured in more than 100 movies which includes Aki na Ukwa, Jadon, Stubborn Flies, Boys from Holland, etc. His small size figure makes him to stand out amongst other actors.
Iheme, like his onscreen partner Chinedu Ikedieze, has a small physique and the two are sometimes referred to as the midget duo. He has evolved in his career from just a comedic actor to a multifaceted established actor. This has garnered him respect throughout the Nigerian movie industry and its fans alike.
All news about Iheme's wedding is just rumors. The actor is not going to get married now, according to his words, he is not ready to get into marriage. Some months ago, the media was awash with reports about his "wife" and a wedding ceremony. Nana Ama McBrown claimed to be Iheme's wife, but, the Ghanaian actress and Iheme did not confirm their relationship.There was no public confirmation of the wedding ceremony. The actor is single at the moment, and there is no bride. He is currently one of the richest and most influential actor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $3.5million.
In 2007, Iheme received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards. He is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most famous actors. In 2011, he was honored as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR). In 2014, he received an award for Best Actor in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
