Uche Jombo Rodriguez was born in her hometown of Abiriba in Ohafia local government area of Abia state, Nigeria, on December 28th, 1979 to Mr. Nelson Jumbo. She is a popular Nigerian actress, screenwriter, and film producer.

Jombo completed both her primary and secondary school education in Abiriba obtaining both her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. She thereafter proceeded to the University of Calabar in Cross River State agraduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics. She also studied Computer Programming at the Federal University of Technology in Minna, Niger State.
Uche Jumbo’s acting career began in 1999 when she featured in the movie Visa to hell. She has since then worked on a couple of other movies. She is also a screenwriter, and she has written and co-written several movies. She has done screenwriting for movies like The Celebrity, Games Men Play, Girls in the Hood and A Time to Love. The actress has also produced several movies, some of which include Nollywood Hustlers, Holding Hope and Damage.
She is presently an ambassador for Globacom. She operates a Non-governmental Organization called, Uche Jombo and You, which assists Nigerian youth with dreams of becoming script-writers and actors. She is also the executive producer of her own film production company Picture Perfect.
Uche Jumbo is married to an American/Puerto Rican born man named, Kenney Rodriguez. The marriage which took place in 2012 is blessed with a son named, Matthew Rodriguez.
A few years ago, it was widely reported that Kenney Rodriguez, the husband of actress, Uche Jombo, had cheated on her with a 22-year-old American. But Kenney responded to the allegation when he took to his Instagram account to make a public apology to his wife who had been trolled all over social media ever since the rumour came up.
The controversy made the actress take herself off social media as she described the rumours as wicked. Kenney also stated that he had taken legal actions against the blog that first shared the rumour. The rumour started when photos of Kenney in a compromising position was leaked. However, this photo was an old picture of Jombo’s husband and his ex.
In August 2017, there were rumours that her marriage had crashed. However, in a swift response she denied such reports. "Dear Nigerian Bloggers, If you are going make up stories about my life or marriage try facts," Uche said.
She is a fan of Manchester United Football Club of England and a big fan of football star, Lionel Messi. She has an estimated net worth of $2million.
