Clinton Roberts, one of the DNA twins was born on June 16, 1996 into a polygamous family which had 11 other children. He is from Imo state, Nigeria.

Clinton made his debut with his twin brother, Robert on the screen with the Abuja audition of the 2013 Glo X-factor competition after his secondary school final exams and although they were the second to be evicted from the competition, they remained in the hearts and minds of viewers. With hopes of performing with P-Square one day, and on the advice of the likes of Bez and Burna boy, they forged on, determined to not stray from the path of music.
After X-factor, they released their first single, titled ‘Mash Up Freestyle’, a combination of some top Nigerian songs, including ‘Soundtrack’ by May-D, and ‘Your Waist’ by Iyanya and in 2017 got signed to Mavin records releasing 'How Can ‘which was produced by Don Jazzy.
In April 2016, Clinton got abducted alongside his twin brother on their way to Lagos from Abuja after visiting their mother by Gunmen who demanded a ransom of 10 million naira with threats to kill them, they were later released after a ransom was paid.
His role models in the music industry are Michael Jackson and Usher, Wizkid, PSquare, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, and Dare Art Alade.
Clinton and his twin revealed that the name of their band, 'DNA boys' stands for the fact that they are not just connected biologically but also musically.
