Gloria was born into a Muslim family but became a Christian later on. She attended Oyo State College of Education, Ilesha where she studied English Language and Religious studies. She furthered her studies at the Divisional Teachers Training College at Ipetumodu where she was trained as a teacher.

Although her desire was to be a teacher, Gloria delved into acting when she co-founded the Mount Zion Drama Ministry on August 5, 1985 with her husband, Mike. She is the Vice President of the film industry. She has played lead roles in most Mount-Zion films such as Ultimate Power, The Hunting Shadow, Blood on the altar, The Haunting Shadows and many more.

She is also the author of these books: The Anxiety of Single Sisters, The Minister and His Wife and A Successful Ministerial life in Drama.

Gloria met her husband, Mike Bamiloye, at the Oyo State College of Education, Ilesha. Gloria was 24 and Mike 28 when they got married on October 8th, 1988. The marriage was however against her parent’s wish because he had no job apart from being in a full-time drama ministry. She gave birth to three Children: Damilola, Joshua, and Darasimi in poverty.
