Anna was born with a twin sister. Her father is a military officer and mother, a lecturer. She is also related to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and comes from a home where education and discipline is a necessity. Although born in Ibadan, her family moved to Jos, Plateau state where she attended command secondary school. She thereafter studied Physics at the University of Jos.

Although Annabella had minor acting roles in school, she began professional acting in 2011. It began when a friend got her into the Amstel Malta Box Office reality television show. She attended a few auditions and got chosen for roles. Some of her movies include; Samantha, Twisted Union, Free to Live (SuperStory), RedBox, New Jerusalem, Last Men Of New Jerusalem, Painful Sin, Common Grounds, Mario Mario, and Amstel Malta Box-office (Ambo 3).

Anna started dating when she was 23-years-old. The relationship did not however last as her boyfriend died. Up on till then, she was still a virgin. Although her twin sister studied Theatre Arts, she is not an actress.
