Temitope Aina Oshin was born on June 10th, 1979 in Lagos state, Nigeria. She is an actor, casting director, producer and voice actor.

Born into a Christian home, Tope began studying Economics at the University of Ilorin, Kwara state, before she left for the Lagos State University where she bagged a studied Public Administration and Theatre Arts, TV and Film Production. In 2014, she graduated from the Colorado Film School of the Community College of Aurora in Denver with a certificate in Filmmaking Techniques and Methodologies. She is also a 2015 alumni of the Berlinale Talents.
Top Oshin began her acting career in 1996 but her breakthrough came in the 2010 movie titled Relentless. She has directed 750 episodes of Africa's biggest soap opera "Tinsel", and other credits are multiple award winning shorts "The Young Smoker", "Till Death Do Us Part", "New Horizons", the award winning feature "Journey To Self" , movies such as "Love & War", "Conversations at Dinner" and Mnet's tele-novella, "Hotel Majestic".
Among her producing credits are 26 made for TV movies, talk shows and soon to be released theatrical feature "Fifty" directed by Biyi Bandele, amongst others. She has also cast several projects and notable among them is MTV Network's 'Shuga'. She owns Sunbow Productions Ltd which she founded in August 2010.
From December 2014 to November 2015, she was the TV series director of the Hotel Majestic Show. She also produced the Fifty (theatrical movie) and the Wedding Party 2 in 2014 and 2017 respectively, both under the Ebony Life TV. Between 2009 and 2013, she also worked as a director with M-Net. The actress also consults for Promocom Ventures.
Oshin is celebrated as one of the Okay Africa 100 Women 2018, and listed on several publications as one of Africa’s Leading Women, Nigeria’s Most Inspiring Women, and one of the Top 7 Power Women in Nigerian Film. In 2015 and 2017, she was invited and served as a juror for the International Emmy Award.
Tope describes herself as a "Filmmaker for Change" and refers to her very next production at any point in time as her best and most challenging. She is married to Yinka Ogun with whom she has two children - Ayomipe Ogun and Oluwaferanmi Ogun.
