Musa soon moved from Mutunchi Academy to Tottenham Hotspur of England and eventually to Celta Vigo of Spain, all as a youth player. In 2013, he was a member of the victorious Nigerian team at the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He also represented the country at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Since 2014, Musa has played for three teams including Ferroviario Maputo and Portimonense, both loan spells and currently FC Porto B team.
