Hon Gudaji began his career in November 1991 as an agent with Clearing and Forwarding Agencies Nigeria Limited. In 2006 he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fatoma Investment Nigeria Limited. On May 2nd, 2012 he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at MK Surveillance International Nigeria Limited, a specialist in surveillance materials.

On April 11th, 2015 Hon Gudaji was elected under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as a member of the House of Representatives, Abuja to represent Kazaure/Roni/Gwiwa Constituency of Jigawa State.
