Hon. Adamu Fagengano Muhammadu was born in 1950. He is an indigene of Garki Local Government Area of Jigawa State, Nigeria. He is the member represnting Babura/Garki Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon Adamu attended Staff Development Center and obtained a certificate in social services. In 1976 he obtained a diploma in social administration from the Kaduna State Polytechnic. He further attended the Bayero University Kano where he obtained an advanced diploma in 1995. In 2001 he obtained a Master's degree in development studies from the Bayero University Kano.
Hon Adamu has worked in the following capacities: social welfare officer; Head of Social Development Cooperative; Trade and Industry Dutse Local Government, Jigawa State; Principal Assistant Secretary at Ministry for Local Government in Kano State; and Principal Assistant Secretary at Federal Ministry of Trade.
In 2015 he was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent Babura/Garki Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. He works towards bringing change in terms of human, economic and education development. He is a member of the House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning.
