Redoak Trust and Investment Limited was incorporated on the 18th of June, 1998 as a limited liability company to carry out composite finance and other related business.

The company was granted operations licence by the Central Bank of Nigeria in June 2008 and then commenced full scale operation thereafter at its rented office at Allseasons Plaza with full staff compliments.

During the year 2015, with 30th September as deadline, the minimum paid up capital of Finance Companies in Nigeria was increased from N20,000,000.00 Ordinary Shares to N100,000,000.00, RedoakTrust and Investment Limited was among the 58 Finance Houses in Nigeria that were able to cross this hurdle of this recapitalisation.

BUSINESS AREAS

1. Providing facilities to finance local purchase orders of only Blue-Chip Companies with good track records such as Guinness Nigeria Plc, Nigeria Breweries, Nigerite Plc. and establishments of like nature

2. Lease financing are being carefully selected based on lessee’s capacity to make regular repayment throughout the life of the facility. This could be finance or operating lease.

3. Bill Discounting is embarked upon only for executed contracts awaiting payments from Blue Chip company’s listed above.

MONEY MARKET ACTIVITY

This involves the company sourcing for cheap funds for investment/placements in money market, especially with banks and discount houses at margins not lower than 3% per annum
