Gateway Industrial & Petro-Gas Institute was established by Ogun State Government to support local content initiatives of developing capacity for the hydrocarbon and other industries. It is the second specialized skills training institute after the Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun for the Oil and Gas Industries in Nigeria and is presently located at Oni near Iwopin, Ogun Waterside, Ogun State. The Institute presently runs courses in Welding and Fabrication, Health Safety and Environment, Computer Aided Design and Piping and Plumbing Technology. 

The Gateway Industrial & Petro-Gas Institute is committed to aiding individuals’ develop marketable skills through quality training at minimum cost.
