Abdullahi Sabi Aliyu was born on August 12, 1968. He is an indigene of Niger State and a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Niger North Senatorial District.
Aliyu Abdullahi would have been 56 years old, if he were alive today. May his soul rest in peace.
Abdullahi competed his secondary education at Borgu Secondary School New Bussa in 1984 and then went to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated in 1992 with a degree in Vertinary Science. He also went for further studies at the University of Calabar and Ogun State University respectively.
Prior to becoming a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he was a veterinary research officer from 1992 to 2006, Special Assistant/ Head of Planning and Institutional Development and Department.
In the 2015 elections, he contested for the senatorial seat of the Niger North Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and won.
He is the chairman Senate Committee on Media & Public Affairs Commission as well as the vice chairman Senate Services Committee.
