In 2015, Aniyikaye joined FC Ifeanyi Ubah after spells with Prime FC and Heartland FC. The reliable defender soon became an integral part of the Anambra Warriors side. The highlight of his career came on November 6th, 2016, when he scored the decisive kick in the shoot-out as his team emerged as champions of the Fdeeration Cup in Lagos. They defeated Nasarrawa United to clinch the, the oldest football competition in Nigeria. 

In January 2017, FC Ifeanyi Ubah announced Aniyikaye as the new team captain ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League season. While responding he said, “It was a huge honour for me to be named captain of this great club. It is a role I will perform with great pride. Team spirit has always been very high and I am very grateful to the management for the faith they have shown in me. I look forward to leading the team out in the new season.” With the Nnewi club, he went on to represent Nigeria at the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup but crashed out in the preliminary round. 

On the International level, Aniyikaye has been part of the Super Eagles Team B on few occasions including the 2017 WAFU Cup.
