Young Masterkraft attended United Christian Secondary School in Apapa and dreamt of becoming an accountant.
MasterKraft's gift for production was picked up on by Nigerian producer, Kenny Ogungbe who soon signed him to his record label, Kenny Music. Prior to this, Masterkraft was playing the keyboard and piano for different bands.
He has worked with artists like Flavour N’abania, Bracket, Banky W., Sound Sultan, Timaya, Lynxxx, M.I, Solid Star and J. Martins, among others with production hits for the songs; “Fine lady” by Lynxxx featuring Wizkid, “Kwarikwa (Remix)” by Flavour N’abania featuring Fally Ipupa, “Girl” by Bracket featuring Wizkid, "Power to Win" by Flavour N'abania, (due to his production genius, this soundtrack was used for the Glo 2014 Nigeria World Cup campaign and licensed as one of the soundtracks for American Idol Season 14 in 2015), “Chinny Baby” by Flavour N’abania, “Ukwu” by Timaya, and “Jasi” by Banky W.
In 2014, Masterkraft was ranked 8th on the 2014 list of Top 10 Music Producers In Nigeria and in 2015, Nigeria Entertainment Today ranked him 7th on its list of Nigeria’s Top 7 Biggest Music Producers at the Moment and Thisday Newspaper listed him as one of its Top 10 Music Producers in Nigeria. He has been nominated for 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards for Music Producer of the Year and The Headies 2015 for Producer of the Year.
He is the CEO of his music production firm, Masterkraft Beats and definitely someone to look up to, no wonder the Nigerian musician, CDQ names him as his mentor.
