Sikiru Olatunbosun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on August 4th. At a young age, Sikiru feel in love with sports. Beginning with baseball, he switched to football as a teenager. He currently plays as a striker for Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club (MFM FC) of Lagos, and the Nigerian national team.

Sikiru grew up in his hometown of Akoka, Yaba, Lagos Mainland, where he bgan playing baseball as a young boy in Finbas College. Baseball took Sikiru far, travelling to countries like Burkina Faso for tournaments. However, due to its unpopularity in the country he opted for football and joined an amateur club side, Real FC.
With Real FC, Sikiru played at the Lagos Football Association (LAFA) League where he faced and scored against his current club, MFM FC in the semi-final. That was his first meeting his MFM coach Fidelis Ilechukwu who later convinced him to join the club.
Sikiru joined the MFM FC academy in 2006 where he from Amateur 2 to Amateur 1 before he was promoted to Pro and played for three more years before they gained promotion to the NPFL in August 2015. On his birthday in August 2016, a brace as MFM beat Akwa United 3–0. A 1-0 win over FC IfeanyiUbah on the last day of the 2016 season saw MFM finish 16th to avoid an immediated return to the Nigeria National League (NNL). Sikiru managed seven goals that season.
2017 was his most prolific season, seeing him score numerous goals including a wonder goal at the matchday 10 fixture of the NPFL played at the Agege Township Stadium that won him the CNN's goal of the week worldwide. That season, MFM finished second and for the first time, qualified for the CAF Champions League. In 2018, Sikiru attempted to move abroad but soon returned to MFM in April after a failed trial in Switzerland at FC Zurich.
Sikiru was called up as part of a Nigerian team for the 2014 Expo Unity World Cup, where he scored two goals in the final, a 7-0 thrashing of a Colombia XI. He had his first full innternational debut for the Nigerian national football team in June 2017, coming on as a sub in a friendly against Togo.
Sikiru's role model in Nigeria is Jay Jay Okocha and abroad is Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo. A lover of rice, he enjoys sleeping and and listening to music especially black Nigerian music.
Sikiru was named Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos Player of the Month for April, 2016. The left footed striker also won the CNN's goal of the week in February 2017.
