Hadiza Aliyu also known as Hadiza Gabon was born in Libreville, Republic of Gabon to Malam Aliyu and Hajiya Halima. Her father is from Gabon, and her mother from Adamawa State, Nigeria.

Hadiza attended primary and secondary schools in her birth country with an aspirations to become a lawyer. She was forced to drop out from University due to some issues that impaired her studies. Her academic came to an abrupt halt then that gave her the opportunity to pursue a diploma programme in French Language and she ended up teaching in a private school after graduation.

She is the proud founder of of “HAG Foundation” , a charity organization aimed at improving the lives of less fortunate people in the society.
In 2017, Multiple award winning actor, Ali Nuhu has debunked the rumor making round that he secretly married Hadiza. A picture of Nuhu and Gabon went viral on social media with netizens saying the duo got married in Kano. However, Nuhu who manages FKD Film Production lamented that some people out of their ulterior motives would create rumor without thinking of its consequences. He added that picture that triggered the rumor was in a film titled 'Akushi', where the actress was playing the role of his wife.
