Padita Agu Early Life

Agu was born into a family of seven, comprising her parents and five siblings. She studied Creative Arts briefly at the University of Lagos and later, moved to the University of Abuja where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts. Afterwards, she studied Acting for Film and Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, Hollywood branch. She joined several drama clubs at every level while she was growing up. As a five-year-old, she discovered she could draw, sculpt, dance and sing and was able to mimic people. Since then, her life has revolved around one art/drama event or the other.

Agu's first movie role was in Teco Benson’sFormidable Force. She played a nurse and it was a waka pass role. It was her first audition in Lagos. The movie that brought her to limlight was Egg of Life, and it featured other actors like Clarion Abiola, Ebele Okaro and Pete Edochie.

She took a break from acting at some point to enable her complete and further her education. She has also produced movies and starred in The Last 3 Digits which was released late 2015. She has featured in several prominent movies such as Beyong the Song, Without Apology, Into Temptation, Burning Heart, Final Mission, Single Ladies and The Last 3 Digits.
