Ifeoma Iphie Aggrey-Fynn (popularly known as Iphie) was born on June 8th in Aba, Abia state, Nigeria, to a a Ghanian father and a Nigerian mother. She was a writer, motivational speaker, radio and television personality.

Iphie grew up in Abia state and graduated from the Department of Linguistics and Communication Studies, Abia State University, Uturu in 2005.
Iphi began her media career as a TV presenter in 2003. She joined Silverbird Communications in 2009, working with their stations Rhythm 95.7 FM and Silverbird Television in Awka, Anambra state, and thereafter Rhythm 93.7 FM, Port Harcourt, Rivers state. She was also a three-time host of the Miss Niger Delta beauty pageant. A member of the programme’s department, her shows on radio were geared towards helping her listener deal with some of life’s challenges.
Iphie was murdered on the evening of June 2nd, 2015 while on a visit to Aba to see her parents and siblings. A source close to the family disclosed she was being driven home by an unidentified male friend at about 7:00 p.m. and just as they arrived Udu Street in Aba North Local Council, where her parents reside, some unknown gunmen attempted to intercept the vehicle. Sensing that the gunmen had a sinister motive, Iphie’s perceived male friend was said to have made efforts to avoid the gunmen, who were then got infuriated and shot sporadically at the car. The source explained that after about 30 minutes, some residents of the streets, who were courageous enough to come out of their homes, went to Iphie’s friend’s car and found her lying in her pool of blood. Iphie was still single before her gruesome murder.
