Jumoke was a bread seller who turned a popular model when she first appeared on the cover of a magazine before she was made a model. The story of her rise to fame went viral and was aired in different media outfits including CNN. She never knew that this would lead to a brighter future for her and her family. It was said that she even travelled with her 16 months old daughter leaving the older child with her husband, Sunday.

Jumoke’s rise to stardom began when she traveled to Lagos to sell bread with one of her children hoping to make some money to cater for her family while her husband, Sunday installed sliding doors with their other child. On a faithful day while she was selling her bread on a street in Lagos, she was captured in the background of a photo shoot by TY Bello. It was in an attempt to find Jumoke that her picture go viral on social media and appeared on the cover of Style Magazine.

When she was discovered by TY Bello, she was first offered a modelling contract. After which she signed a deal with Stanbic, Payporte and a host of others. Although, she doesn’t speak English, she and her children has been offered an opportunity to have real formal education by a bank.

Jumoke never gets tired of sharing her success story. According to her, Why should I? I can never be tired at all; in fact nothing can make me stop sharing my success story. The mother of two was formerly trained as a hairdresser where she met her husband, Sunday Orisaguna, an artisan who installed sliding doors. According to him, he wooed her for 6 months. After they got married in 2010, they had two daughters but found it hard to cater for them. This condition made Olajumoke decide to move to Lagos. She worked extra hard for about a year to make ends meet for her family with little success. She would sell her bread from 2.30pm in the afternoon to 11.00pm in the evening with a profit of N350 per day.
