Georgina Chloe Eku Edewor-Thorley was born on December 18th, 1986 in Portland, London with her twin sister, Kessiana, to a Nigerian mum, Juliana Edewor, an interior designer, restaurateur, and art collector originally from from the popular Edewor family of Benin, Edo state, and a British dad, Hugh Thorley. The gorgeous 53 Extra presenter is a British Nigerian model, TV personality and actress.

Edewor's parents divorced when she was young and both remarried. Her late stepfather, Peter Adeniya Thomas, was a businessman and lawyer from Lagos. She had her primary education at St. Saviour's School and Grange school, both in Lagos, while her high school was at Benenden School for Girls in the UK. She completed her honours degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies from Warwick University in England in 2008. She also completed an acting course from the New York Film Academy in 2009.
Eku made her television debut in 2007, when she competed in the reality show Britain’s Next Top Model under the name “Georgina Edewor-Thorley”. She went on to feature as Sade Coker in the television series, The Island, which was shot in 2012 . For her first major film role, she played principal character Sapphire in the 2013 romantic comedy film Flower Girl.
After the death of her stepfather, Peter Thomas, in 2009, Eku returned to Nigeria to work in her mother’s restaurant, the Chardonnay Restaurant and Bar, so that her mother could focus on her career as an interior designer. She co-hosted the Big Brother Africa All Stars red carpet in 2010 and also hosted the Pepsi Top Ten Countdown in 2012.
In 2012, she starred in the television series “The Island” as Sade Coker and also played the role of Nicole in the series “How She Met My Brother”. Her other projects include a role in the British series “The Rules to Making Money” and also hosting the red carpet for Ja Rule and Ashanti concert in Nigeria.
Eku has a lovely daughter with her fiance, Chini Odogwu who is a photographer, artist and businessman, and son to billionaire business man Chief Sunny Odogwu. She aled that the secret to her svelte figure is eating healthy and no work outs. She also admitted that she’s obsessed with anti-aging products, constantly researching on ways to beat the aging process in addition to eating healthy.
Eku thinks it is very important for anyone to always remember your roots – where you’re from, your culture and their significance in your life while creating your own identity. According to her, "You should never abscond from who you are because it creates a different type of displacement."
She was nominated for the TV Presenter of the Year in the ELOY Awards in 2014.
