Sasha Damilola Alesh (Dice Ailes) was born to a Nigerian Father and a Ghanaian Mother. He is the first of two children.

Dice Ailes attended Nigerian International School in Benin Republic and Aunty Ayo International in Lagos, Nigeria for his Primary school education, he went on to Mercy College and Lagooz College in Lagos Nigeria for his Secondary school education before moving to Canada with his family where he attended York University in Toronto, Canada for a degree in Health and Society as Pre-Med with the hopes of getting into Medical school.
He started writting poetry at age 9. He was fascinated with the way his Uncles who were Song writers at the time could make up melodies and lyrics and he wanted to be part of it.
His first introduction to music started in the Church Choir where he beat boxed to music composed and rehearsed for Church services. He was involved in a lot of musical activities while growing up like beating drums, playing the harmonica, playing the recorder etc.
Dice saved up some money which he used to produce his first single titled 'I can't wait' ft Rado (His uncle). He went on to air his single on Rhythm 93.7 which earned him an appearance on DJ Jimmy Jatt's 'Jimmy's Jump off'.
After moving to Canada with his family, he met Stephen Oruwari aka Tee Tash who signed him to a Recording/ Production agreement.
He came to Nigeria from Canada in 2013 to push a song called 'Yemisi' and familiarize himself with the Industry, and he got to meet M.I through a mutual friend, 'Frank De Nero'. He played some of his songs for M.I who thought he had the potential of making it big and by 2014, he was signed under Chocolate city.
In 2014, he released his debut single, 'Fantasy' which was a huge success. He also released other hit singles like, 'Machinery', 'Odun De', 'Telephone', 'Oh no', he teamed up with M.I to work on the remix of Drake's Controlla.
Dice officially shot into limelight after the release of his critically acclaimed single in 2016 'Miracle' which featured Lil Kesh. The song was ranked 3rd by TooXclusive on its 'Top 10 songs for the month of October, 2016' and in 2017, TooXclusive named him as one of the 'Top sixteen artists you need to know' after the release of 'Otedola' and 'Ella' which gained massive airplay establishing him in the forefront of a genius revolution in Nigerian Music.
His Frirst single in 2018 is titled 'Mr Biggs'.
The release of the Song 'Otedola' in 2017 sparked a lot of controversies as the song seemed to be an Ode to the Nigerian billionaire Otedola. Dice however debunked those accusations saying he did not sing the song to get financial gains nor did he expect to gain recognition from the billionaire.
On January 29th 2018, Dice was allegedy almost kidnapped but he managed to escape his abductors.
