Micheal Collins Ajereh was born in Umuahia in Abia state to the family of Mr Collins Enebeli, founder of Sagitarious productions and Mrs Patience Enebeli, an international buisness tycoon, shortly after which his family moved to Lagos state where he was raised in Ajegunle.
Michael Collins Ajereh is 42 years old.
He developed interest in music at the age of 4 and began singing,dancing and playing drums at the local church.
He learnt to play the bass guitar at the age of 12 and soon mastered the skill.
Micheal attended Federal Government College Lagos from where he graduated and moved on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Buisness Administration from the Ambrose Ali University,Ekpoma, Edo state.
In the year 2000, Don Jazzy visited his uncle in London where he also played Juju music in churches and minor gigs. He met his would be partner Oladapo Daniel (D’Banj) at roughly the same time.
In 2004, Mo’hits records was founded and co-owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy.
In 2012, the company crashed owing to some disagreements on the ownership and debt issues. Don Jazzy claimed 100% ownership of the company.
Mo’hits had to its credit hit albums like ,’’No long thing’’,’’ Rundown funk U Up’’ and ‘’the Entertainer’’ all by D’banj and Wande Coal’s ‘’Mushin to Mo’hits’’ and the ‘’Mo’hits Crew All stars’’.
Don Jazzy is known for his signature,’’its Don Jazzy Again’’ on all tracks produced by him.
Soon after the crash of Mo’hits Don jazzy independently founded a new company, ’’Mavin Records’’ with a new selection of artists being signed and some of the old artists from Mo’hits were retained.
To date Mavin records has a good number to top notch artists signed to it’s name including ; Tiwa Savage ,Di’ja, Korede Bello, Reekado Banks, D’Prince and Dr Sid.
He has been nominated for a lot of Awards over the years which includes-
He has endorsments from Loya milk – 2012 till date worth 40 million naira, MTN- worth 40 million naira reviewed upwards from the previous 25 million, Samsung- 2013 worth 110 million naira and Konga e-commerce mall – 2013 worth 15 million naira.
in 2012, he appeared in Moses Innang's movie 'The last 3 digits' in Nollywood.
Excluding rumoured relationships with the likes of Linda Ikeji, Don Jazzy has not been associated with anyone in a romantic manner though he has outwardly expressed interest in voluptuous women.
