Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy is one of the most popular and most sought after Nigerian Dj and music producer and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola born on November 11, 1992. She hails from Ibadan, Oyo state.

She lived in Ilupeju, Lagos state for six years before going over to London where she earned a Masters degree in Music Business from New York City University. Prior to this, she got a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from King’s College London.
At 16, she was already 'Disc Jockeying' and could already play the guitar quite well learning from Youtube videos. In an interview, she disclosed that she had not actually started out to be a DJ particularly but had only been following the music.
Playing with second-hand equipment, she launched her career in 2008 and by 2014, was the resident DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban and at the Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London and the Financial Times Luxury Summit in Mexico City. She launched Red Velvet Music Group, a music management and content production business in the same year after releasing her first music compilation mix called “House of Cuppy” in 2014.
The DJ who praised for her ability to seamlessly fuse commercial hits with innovative remixes to relate with diverse crowd has been nominated for several awards which include; ELOY Awards for Best Female DJ in 2014
In March 2015, DJ Cuppy became the official DJ for the 2015 Oil Barons Charity in Dubai and the first African act to have ever performed at the event. She is an intern at Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. DJ Cuppy is the current tourism ambassador for the country’s “Fascinating Nigeria” campaign appointed by Nigeria’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation, Edem Duke in April 2014. She was featured in the 2015 April/May issue of Forbes Woman Africa after being featured on the cover of the Guardian Life as a new generation African woman in January of the same year.
She has toured different cities in Africa including, Senegal, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa following her “Cuppy Takes Africa” DJ tour which was aired on Fox Life Africa as an 8-episode documentary series. As part of her initiative to send 10 people to the University in 2018, DJ cuppy took to her social media account to announce the initiation of the project with Akeem Owolabi going off to Unilag (University of LAgos)
DJ cuppy took it a bit further in 2017 with the release of her first official single, "Green Light" in a genre she describes as "Neo- Afrobeats" which featured Nigerian singer and producer, Tekno. She also released Vibes featuring Sarkodie in the same year. She plans on releasing an album soon.
DJ Cuppy is the Pepsi Ambassador in Lagos.
Her stage name, DJ Cuppy stands to mark her love for cupcakes.
