Dakore Omobola Egbuson Akande was born on October 14th, 1978 in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. She is a Nollywood actress, model and a television personality.

The Bayelsa state born actress grew up in Lagos and Bauchi states with her siblings Timini and Samuel. She attended primary school at Corona School in Lagos State and Federal Government Girls’ College in Bauchi state for her secondary school. She then proceeded to University of Lagos to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, but had to drop out of school due to incessant strikes by the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU).
Egbuson joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) in 1999 and started attending movie auditions while also featuring as a minor character. Her breakthrough came in 2005 when she featured in the movie Final Game.
The actress has since her debut, featured in over one hundred movies some of which include; Peace of Flesh, Men Do Cry, Emotional Crack, Shattered Illusion, When the Going Gets Tough, Playboy, Oracle, Hole in the Heart, Silent Tears, Emotional Cry, Caught in the Middle, Journey to Self and Isoken. She has featured alongside stars such as Ireti Doyle, Tope Tedela, Omoni Oboli, Ramsey Noah, Jim Iyke, Desmond Elliot, Chidi Mokeme, Ken Erics, and Kenneth Okonkwo. She was part of the 2015 Nigerian family comedy film, Lunch Time Heroes and also the 2015 Nigerian romantic drama film, Fifty.
Dakore is currently the ambassador for Amnesty International, Amstel Malta and Oxfam of America. There is no doubt that the gorgeous actress has paved a successful career for herself in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The elegant actress is currently married to the Nigerian billionaire, Olumide Akande, son of Chief Harry Akande, and they are blessed with two beautiful children. She stated in an interview that she enjoys being a mother and would not trade the experience for anything. She lives in Lagos and Los Angeles, USA.
