Ijeoma Grace Agu Early Life

Grace was born as the first of five children in a family of Anambra origin. She grew up in Benin City and Lagos. She had her secondary education at Franej International High School Edo state after which she proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry. She is also an alumnus of Royal Arts Academy, where she was the first student to register at the academy.

According to Ijeoma, her acting career started on stage in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria at the age of 14 years old while still in school, as she participated in several drama and stage plays.

The talented actress kicked off her professional career in 2007 with a role in Fidelis Duker’s TV series "Eldorado." She came into limelight following her role in Hoodrush and Misfit. 

Agu also starred in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Taxi Driver”. In 2012, she was part of the cultural group at 2012 London Olympic Games. In 2014, she won the award for Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards. Her movies include "The Arrangement," "Beyond Blood," "One Room," "The Choice of  Aina," "Flower Girl," "From Within," "Just Not Married" among others.
