Honourable Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin was born in 1964. He hails from Dasin in Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Nigeria. He is a lawyer, entrepreneur and politician who currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives for Fufore/Song Federal Constituency.

Honourable Sadiq attended Dasin Primary School. He thereafter attended Aliyu Mustapha College,Yola and Yelwa Government Secondary School from where he obtained his West African Senior Certificate (WAEC) in 1976. He proceeded to the University of Maiduguri from where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law in 1986. He was called to bar in 1987 after attending the Nigerian Law School.
Honourable Sadiq worked with Habib Bank in Lagos from 1990 to 2001 as a council. He moved to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture in 2001 and worked there for a decade. In 2011, he obtained a Master's degree in Law (LLM) from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Shortly after leaving the Ministry of Agriculture in 2011, Honourable Sadiq was elected as a lawmaker in the Adamawa State House of Assembly. In 2015, he contested and won the ticket to represent Fufore/Song at the Federal House of Representatives under the flag of the All Progressive Congress (APC). He is the vice Chairman on ECOWAS parliament committee on Legal and Judiciary affairs of the house of representatives lawmakers and is known to be an active in making some important contributions regards the issues of the lawmakers.
