Honourable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo was born in 1976. He is an indigene of of Enugwu Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. He is an accountant, businessman and politician. Hon. Dozie is currently the member representing Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

Hon. Dozie earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Port Harcourt Rivers State. He also obtaind an MSc in Business Administration (Leadership Option) from the University of the Liverpool UK. His quest for professionalism and specialisation routed him to many trainings, conferences, and exhibitions around the world including value world conference in Amsterdam, value engineering exhibition in China, Buffaloes fire-fighting equipment exhibition in the USA, oil and gas exhibition in Germany, Chemical spill cleanup pump exhibition in Sweden.
In 2011, Honourable Nwankwo contested for the Federal Constituency to represent Njikoka, Anaocha, and Dunukofia Federal Constituency under the banner of the former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) but lost. He re-contested in 2015 under the banner of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). This time he won. As a member of the House, he has serves in various committees such as; Federal Character, Delegated Legislation, Air Force, NEMA, Health Institutions, Healthcare Services and Ports, Harbours & Water Ways.
Hon. Nwankwo is the founder of Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Foundation. A foundation built to give hope to the less privileged in the society. The Foundation focuses on humanitarian services such as widow support, medical care, education support grant, youth empowerment programmes to mention but a few. His foundation with the motto, Service to Humanity is a household name all over Anambra State for the far-reaching medical and educational touch on the citizens. From the records of the Foundation, over 44,000 people from 22 communities in Anambra Central Senatorial Zone have benefited from the various programmes of the Foundation. A breakdown of the beneficiaries indicates that over 3000 widows have been assisted through the poverty alleviation scheme, 500 people have undergone eye surgery while over 1000 others have been treated for various eye related illness and another 2000 given medicated eye glasses. Over 50,000 exercise books have been given to secondary school students. The Foundation has so far drilled 3 boreholes spread within the 3 local government areas comprising the Federal Constituency. It is said that when the righteous are in power, the people rejoice.
Hon. Nwankwo is popularly known as aka Onye Ndozi (the repairer). He is married.
