Honourable Michael Okon Enyong (popularly known as Baba Ntan) was born in 1969. He is an indigene of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Hon. Enyong is an engineer and politician who currently serves as the member representing Uyo, Uruan, Nsit Atai and Ibesikpo Asutan Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

In 1999, Honourable Enyong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. In 2009, he earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Warren National University, United States of America (USA).
Hon. Enyong worked as an Environmental Engineer with Magenta Industries Limited. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Promed Healthcare. He was the Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Tourism Board.
In 2015, Hon. Enyong was elected as a member of the Federal House of Representative to represent the Uyo/Uruan/Nsit Ata/Ibeskikpo Asutan Federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). As a legislature, he targets to help pass bills toward the interest of the people.
In February 2018, a lady accused Hon. Enyong of impregnating her and abandoning her after child birth. The accuser was identified as Regina Christopher a native of Itiam Etoi, in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. In a response, Hon. Enyong denied the incident, saying that his political enemies were after him over the 2019 elections.
