Hon Sunday Ayodele Oladimeji was born in 1963 in Igede Ekiti, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria. He is an accountant, banker and politician. He represents Ado Ekiti/Irepodun Ifelodun Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.

Hon. Oladimeji grew up in Igede Ekiti where he attended primary obtained the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). He had his secondary education at Obalatan Commercial Grammar School in Ilupeju Ekiti and graduated in 1979 with a West African Senior Certificate. He proceeded to the University of Lagos where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1987. In 2005 he obtained an MBA from the University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University).
Hon. Oladimeji began his career with the civil service at the Old Ondo State Ministry of Works, Land and Housing from 1979 to 1980, He switched to the Ministry of Trade, Industries and Cooperative in 1981 and worked there until 1983. He joined the banking sector afterwards working with the following banks; Nigeria International Bank (1988-1990), Equatorial Trust Bank (1990-1999), Devcom Merchant Bank (1999-2000), and Gateway Bank Plc. (2000-2002). Others are; Associated Equity Funds Ltd (2003-2005) and First bank of Nigeria Ltd (2006-2015). In October 2014, he was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Sardonyx Investments Limited.
In 2015, he was elected under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to represent Ado Ekiti/Irepodun Ifelodun Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives. His legislative interest is to work towards bringing good governance, protection of the less privileged and ensuring delivery of the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.
Hon. Oladimeji is happily married Kemisola Oladimeji, an indigene of Ado-Ekiti and graduate of the University of Lagos. They are blessed with Children including Oreoluwa (daughter), Ayownade (son) and Illemobayo Oluwaferanmi (son).
In January 2018, Hon. Oladimeji was reportedly lynched by some thugs on the order of the Director of Heroes filling station in Akure, Ondo State after an operation to enforce the sales of control price on fuel. He was brutally injured.
