Hon Muntari Mohammed Dandutse was born in 1966 in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, Nigeria. He is a politician and lawmaker representing Funtua/Dandume Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

Hon Muntari had his secondary education at Government Secondary School in Malumfashi, Katsina State. He graduated in 1984 with the General Certificate of Education (GCE). He further studied History at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Katsina State. He graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA). In 2005 he bagged a Master's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
From 1990 to 2000, Hon Muntari worked as the executive director of Souete Bank Nigeria Limited. As a politician, he served for 9 years as a Local Government Chairman.
He served as a special assistant to the President of Nigeria from 2000 to 2001. From 2013 to 2015, he served as a president of Glob Nigeria.
In 2015 Hon Muntari was elected into the Federal House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent Funtua/Dandume Constituency. He is a member of the House Committees on Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Judiciary.
