National Interest Party is one of the political parties in Nigeria approved by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). A political party is an organised group of people, often with common views and interests, who come together to contest elections and hold power in government.

National Interest Party is a political party formed by young Nigerians who are desperate to see improvements in the quality and standard of life of every Nigerian on earth. We have set out on this arduous journey with nothing but love for our country, and complete faith in our people.

Our aim is to remove the entire class of political mischief makers who have held us ransome for the entire length of our inependence, and in their place bring in a governement that has a vision, a plan, a strategy and equal love and respect for all of us irrespective of our tribes, regions, and religions. A government formed by all of us for all of us.

The National Interest Party (NIP) is designed to mainly function online. Ours is an open democracy! Party decisions and elections will be conducted online allowing significant participation of members irrespective of physical location. We will welcome to our esteemed Leadership Cadre, at least 50,000 quality Nigerians from every part of the country, no matter in what part of the world they reside. We will welcome all Nigerians of voting age, particularly those who consistently use social media to express their displeasure with our government(s). Many hold valid voter’s cards but rarely vote. We aim to change that. NIP will find, admit, encourage and support quality leaders to whom we can confidently entrust the development and long-term sustenance of our platform and our country. We will help them contest and win elections, and/or get appointed into public office, and assign to them, the roles of mentors and counsellors to the rest of us.
