The Polytechnic Igbo-Owu is a private Institution dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, resolution of complex issues and the empowerment of the citizens and communities. One of the institution’s objectives is to develop and offer training in Engineering Technology, Business and related studies up to the Higher National Diploma (HND) level and to prepare students for professional registration in their chosen fields. The Polytechnic Igbo-Owu take off site is located off Asa Dam/Osere Road Junction, Area Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria.

The permanent site is a 58.3 hectares of land located between Igbo-Owu, Idofian, Igbaja Road in Ifelodun Local Government of Kwara State, Nigeria. As required by the NBTE the parcel of land is enough to accommodate the approved master plan of the institution (The Polytechnic of Igbo-Owu).
