Zeal Chigozie Atuanya was born in Aba, Abia state, Nigeria on September 13th, 1980 to Elder Dominic Nonyelum Atuanya of Agu-Ukwu Nri in Anaocha local government of Anambra State. He is a Nigerian actor, producer and entrepreneur.

Atuanya completed both his primary and secondary school education in Aba and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. He then proceeded to the Enugu State University of Science and Technology where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration.
In 1998, Atuanya joined the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood, and started attending movie auditions and featuring as a minor character in movies. In the same year, he rose to fame after acting in the Nollywood blockbuster movie, King Jaja of Opobo.
Atuanya has since, produced and starred in several Nollywood movies. He was once a model for Delta Soap, appearing in one of their television commercials. He is very handsome and acts mostly in romantic movies alongside with Chacha Eke, Ebube Nwagbo, Chika Ike, Queen Nwokoye, Ken Erics and other top Nollywood celebrities.
Some of his movies include Rattle Snake, Evil Forest, Ladies Men, Heavy Thunder, Touch and Follow, Ladies Gang, Sweet Potato, Double Slap, Royal Palace, Chetanna, Brother’s Keeper, and The Missing God.
On August 3rd, 2013, the Nollywood star got married to his long time girlfriend, Jennifer Obianuju Oranika. On Saturday September 6th, 2014, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
