Ariyike Lawal-Akinbobola was born at St. Nicholas hospital in Lagos, Nigeria, on April 25th, 1982, to an economist, Mojeed Adewale, and a pharmacist, Ladun Lawal. She is a lawyer, TV host, compere, writer and content creator.

She was a constant face on stage at variety shows and school award ceremonies. Due to her jovial and friendly nature, she won the award for ‘Miss Friendly’ for her class, during their class of 1998 final year award night. Afterwards, she proceeded to the University of Lagos, Akoka to study Law. She obtained an LLB in Law after which she proceeded to the Nigerian Law school, Lagos in 2006.
Ariyike has a great love for acting and this led her to make a switch from law practice to acting. In 2010, she began recording episodes of her "Reflections with Ariyike" and was employed in 2011 by Spice TV as a TV presenter. In 2013, she made her debut in Nigerian TV series "Lekki Wives" and also featured in "Madam Caro's Bar".
Ariyike is a writer of the famous blogsites "Bella Naija" in addition to her personal blog "www.reflectionswithariyike.blogspot.com". She contributes to charity by contributing to various NGOs that help children and the needy. She has been involved in various humanitarian activities including the annual Christmas Party which began in 2013.
Ariyike is married and has three sons. When she is not working, she hangs out at the Ikoyi Club with her family.
