Judith Chichi Okpara Mazagwu (popularly known as Afro Candy, also spelled Afrocandy) was born on July 12th, 1971 in Umuduruebo Ugiri-ike, Ikeduru local government area of Imo State, Nigeria. She is the daughter of late Nze Ogadimma Opara and Agatha Opara. Afrocandy is a film actress, pornographic actress, director, model and singer.

Born as a twin into a well artistic family, Afrocandy's interest in acting first surfaced during her teenage years while performing in high school plays. She however, dropped drama in college to pursue a career in Administration. She graduated with an associate degree in office administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She is also a trained security officer.

Judith started answering the name Afrocandy when she got to the United States. Before then, she was usually referred to as Eye-candy. She released her first hit single “Somebody Help Me” in 2009 which played in most clubs and on the FM radio. In 2010 she released her first album 0f 8 tracks featuring a controversial single Ikebe Na Moni which almost tore the internet and the whole world apart. Late in 2011, she released another single "Voodoo-Juju Woman".  She drop her 2nd album by end of 2012.

While Afrocandy was on a commercial photo shoot with her daughters, the modeling agent (King George Models) discovered her and invited her to the movie indusrty. She started out with commercials like Coca Cola, Nixoderm, Liberia G.S.M, among others and playing extra roles in the movies. Shortly thereafter, she landed a role in the Movie “Dangerous Sisters” as Susan where she worked along Dakore Egbuson, Genevieve Nnaji, Tony Umez, Alex Usifo, Tina Amuziam and a host of other actors.

In “Dwelling in Darkness & Sorrows” Judith was charming a “Jezebel” where she played along Michel Ezuruonye and other big Nollywood names. A year later she raised eyebrows as “Nneoma” (Village Girl) in “End of the Game” which also stared Sandra Achums and Tony One Week. She has done a couple movies in the U.S like How Did I Get Here, Ordeal in Paradise, The Goose That Lays The Golden Eggs, Cultures, and  The grass Is Not Always Greener.

Afrocandy is also a porn star. In 2016, she released a video where she danced nude. She has produced pornographic movies like Destructive Instinct and Queen of Zamunda. According to her, every man wants to sleep with her. She also works as a practicing medical billing and coding specialist.

Judith has made her mark as a respected actress who has not gotten into any controversy since she rose to stardom. This is probably because she runs away from publicity to keep her marriage. Unfortunately, her marriage crashed in 2007, 2 years after she joined her husband, Bolton Elumelu Mazagwu, in the United States. Also known as Jack of All Trade, she lives in the United States of America with her 2 beautiful daughters.
